Bringing the DigiKey Studio to Life at Global Trade Shows

When DigiKey set out to make their trade show presence more engaging, they wanted more than just a booth — they wanted a space that told stories. Working alongside their marketing and events teams, Quantiv Creative helped bring that concept to life through on-booth interviews and rapid-turnaround video production at major international shows.

The collaboration began with a single camera operator and editor supporting DigiKey on the ground. Over time, the partnership evolved into a smooth, multi-show operation with clear pre-planning, on-site coordination, and same-day delivery. The goal was simple: to capture meaningful conversations with suppliers and turn them into content that extended well beyond the exhibition floor.

Filming took place at Electronica 2022 and Embedded World 2023, where Quantiv Creative managed all aspects of video production — from scheduling and call sheets to crew logistics. The team coordinated with booth designers, suppliers, and DigiKey’s internal marketing department to ensure each interview fitted within the studio-style booth setup designed to attract attention and spark engagement.

Each video was filmed with an editor conducting the interviews, supported by a sound engineer and camera operator. A member of the team worked behind the scenes to transfer footage back to the main office, allowing editors to deliver polished, captioned videos within 24 hours.

While trade shows are dynamic environments, flexibility was key. Booth structures often change at the last minute, and the Quantiv Creative team adapted quickly to maintain production quality under tight timelines. The result was a series of personable yet technically strong interviews that reflected DigiKey’s approachable brand voice and deep engineering expertise.

The finished videos were distributed across DigiKey’s social media and digital platforms, achieving thousands of views per video and strong engagement across supplier and customer networks. The content became an ongoing part of DigiKey’s trade show strategy, with Quantiv Creative now regularly supporting them with interview-led video production across multiple events each year.
